Richard and Kate

Ohhh I dream about your pizza oven...lol
There's a house for sale near us that has one in the back yard. I must say, we are tempted to go look at it. It's the main/best feature of the place

As for the Nationals..can't wait, wish it was on tomorrow *sigh*
Will be our first time attending and probably not the last :P

Happy Cruising

Get a map with the area roughly you want the nats (sothern QLD and north NSW) put it up on the wall and throw a dart at it. Simple, problem solved.
I'd rather drive something made of metal, not plastic!

The "problem" is easier to solve than throwing a dart. Just leave it up to those who deserve to choose. The Queensland club. It's their decision and no one else's. Simple.

that's pretty right there will always be people that can't or don't want to travel too far, unfortunately it seems the NSW people have it to good being in the middle

just keep buying them from over east so they have none over there then it will have to be held in the west.

From what I read here you could have all the FB &EK's in Australia relocated to WA and build the biggest club ever! but unless you have attended the nationals (where ever they are held) for the past few years and be present at the right nationals for the announcement apparently tuff luck for ever holding a nats in WA?

no wonder there are more FB/EK's turning up to Wintersun each year.

That is a good thing cause the numbers at the nationals are not dropping off :D , means more FB/EK's are getting saved or at least driven :D , Trev 8) .

QLD Nationals

Post by spinner1 »

I may not have a Holden yet or even an avatar, I am that new to this forum. But I have been involved in car clubs for a few years now.

The common thing I see on this poll is that there are quite a few southerners who are willing to travel. And that is brilliant!! Why have a classic car if it sits in a shed covered up, with only yourself secretly enjoying it. For Gods sakes!!! Bring it out, blow out the cobwebs and let us all enjoy it!!! We'll even wipe up the drool!!!

As for where the Nationals should be held, I think the committee will be fools if they host the QLD Nationals in NSW. Wont it then be the NSW nationals hosted by QLD????? To go down in history known for holding the QLD Nationals in NSW!!....My God, what fools we Qlders are!!!! or at least that is how it will appear to those not involved at this level.

Come ON QLD!! Show some back bone and chose one of our many, beautiful places that we have here in the Sunshine State and give these Southerners a bit of a winter tan..... :D
