does anyone hav any pictures or how to's on rebuilding a steering box. i clearly hav put mine back together the wrong way . thanx

ok so no one has any tips so i'll give you one if you see a grey and white wagon swerving all over the road get the hell out of its way

have a look in the gregorys manual, i have never done it but if i was going to i would refer to the manual first :D

I've only ever done one years ago whist an apprentice at Tech College.

Never bothered fixing them because the old holdens were everywhere then ( early '80's ) and we just grabbed a box/column from a wreck at the dump or someones paddock and fitted it and way we went again.

Your best friend at this point (as FB Cruzin said ) is a Gregory's workshop manual ( to order one ask for Gregory's number 67 for FX to HR ) and there is a section in it with explanation and some pics that may help you to get on with putting it back together properly.
I can't think what to write here so this will do.
