Post by minifb »

Hi All, Im in the process of buying a 202 that has been built to xu1 spec's. I want to Know what would be the best size stall converter to put in it(trimatic). It will be used as a everydayer(The Pig) There will be no hooning in it unless im driving it lol. Cheers Mark

Go and get a 4 cylinder commodore one, they are smaller than 6 cyl and will stall up more (cheep), Trev 8) .

Diff gears and tyre height will have an affect too Mark. My old FC originally had a 3000rpm stall with an xu-1 ish specced motor and personally I think it needed to be about 3500. I did change the diff gears but it only made it more apparent it needed a higher stall.
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.
