You said it Mini, Oh well. Time to get the hoist out. I am going to run twin cams so I still have one running in case one goes.

Thanks Wag. I am thrilled to have this one back. Even when it doesn't go

Hey Stewart. That is exactly what Daniel said

That's one very nice car.

Colour really makes it stand out. :D :D

Looks like everyone seems to have timing gear issues, sooner or latter.
And normally when you are a long way from home.

Always liked this colour, Steve - great looking specimen.....

Timing gears....... the archilles heel of the grey motor....

Up for thoughts (not really!)..... has there been a modiofied additive in engine oil during the past five years..... I can't recall so many fibre timing gears going toothless when I was a kid.... we had GTX back then - but it was in its very early stages of "development".......

I do understand that there is really very little "oil" in oil..... as in the mineral refined part of what is sold as "engine oil".....

How many engines these days have fibre gears for anything? - not many, I would think......

Thanks Fin, I agree, it is one of the standout Colours from the FB's, I guess that is why it was on the front Cover of the FB Brochure.

Can't wait till I replace all of the active Grey Motors with the steel.
