Try Repco for a universal switch. About 6 bucks!

Bugger
Caught out
The HR front end was done to make the car safe for my wife to drive on the freeway in peak hour every day.
Was looking for the easiest option with a straight swap on the brake light switch, should have said as original as practical LOL :D

Those brake light switches go straight in without any problems. I swapped mine in the Repco carpark on the way home from a run. Had no choice I had no brakelights.
