The seats and carpet are finally fitted. The roof lining going in next week, but i have to pull the seats out for my guy to fit the lining. At least i can re fit the seats. Once the lining is in i will get the windows fitted.

Went to fit the Shifter (or rather my mate did), but now have to cut the exhaust to get it in. Someone has fitted a big transmission before me so more work required      .

Need the shifter in to get it back to the upholsterer for the roof lining then fit glass and few mechanicals. If you say it quickly it doesn't seem like a lot to do, (if you know what you're doing, which i don't   )

Cheers

Progress at last.

Post by LYNCHPIN »

Had some progress this week that i am happy about. FINALLY had the roof lining fitted. Turns out my upholsterer hates doing vinyl linings especially on wagons. Came up nice though.

Had a new windscreen fitted and the rear windows and cargo area windows refitted. Looking like a complete car again.

Going to try and start fitting the door rubbers on the weekend.

On ya Steve,

The top photo is what the guy fitting the roof lining looked like. According to him it was too cold, the vinyl is a pr%$k to fit cause it doesn't stretch, the glue wasn't setting cause of the cold and then he finished and it came up twice as good as he expected. I am very happy with it.

I will take photos today and see if i can upload them.

Would help if I didn't need a magnifying glass to see the pics, so I can see what I'm looking at.

Definitely need to ENLARGE THOSE PICS
