Gary! you know what its like being a passenger, you wanna just get out and drive the thing yourself.

Maybe Sue needs to whack you over the head with a hammer, till you finally get the hint

I dunno Gary.......
It might also have something to do with all the extra dusting to do on those new trophies you bought back from Bendigo in the 'pool room' poor Sue now has?
Maybe ya should buy flowers 'n' chocolates & take her out to dinner...used to work for me...sort of!

Thanks heaps guys!

I have taken some pics of the finished car on the front lawn at home, been washing it, chamiosing it (haven't worn the chamois out yet Thommo!), polishing it and went for a cruise into town yesterday, it is great to finally be driving the beast! have opened it to about 50% and very impressed, will hopefully get some You tube clips up soon........ LOVE IT!!

I thought you would have worn out your chamois on the Sunday shoe 'n' shine in Bendigo as it never stopped drizzling all morning!
How come your lawn is so manicured??? If I had your car my lawn would be 7 feet high!
Ever thought of changing the "Powerglide" badge to "POWERSLIDE"?

Thanks Rob, all good mate, we figured out what happened, the H/Balancer bolt pulled the threads (on the bolt, not the crank) when we were trying to manually turn the motor over in Mildura to get TDC (the bolt was too short for the balance fitted). The bolt was damaged and a slight scuff on the Gilmer drive but everything else is fine, a new bolt with some locktight (for good measure) and she hasn't missed a beat ....... sometimes you can be lucky hey!
