Torona calipers on "HR" stubs????

Post by dave68 »

O.k. I have heard that "UC" cals will fit on "HR" stubs with "UC" rotars, my question to those that know more than I is, what other torana calipers fit as well with there respective rotars with no major mods involved useing "HR" stubs....:?:
All answers accepted with glee.. ...
Whatever....:(

i didn't know any fitted with the HR stubs but i know a LH stub and caliper/disk will fit on no worries, used to have these on my EK Wagon with HR front end .... only thing you need to do is get them shimmed up a bit to get the camber back to where it should be.

Sammy.

my V8 EK ute had HR stubs with HR rotors and LH callipers, as far as i know all 13" callipers bolt on, only thing with the setup i had is maybe the LH/LX/UC rotors are thicker than HR which might be a drama when pads wear i never had a problem

I've got some LH/LX/UC discs here at home so will measure the thickness of the braking area of the rotor and let you know the thickness but from memory they are a bit thicker than the HR discs??
I can't think what to write here so this will do.
