Thanks Ben
with the base coat i only do a couple of light coats
then 4 to 5 coats of what ever color your using
with the pearl its verry thin in consistance so it needs
a few coats to build up they also come in different pearl colors
mine is white pearl but you can get blue green etc
so different angles it has a blue or green tinge
but the white actually looks like a pearl looks
for the green sedan i used hot house (light) green
base coat then the dark green color then clear
and with the wagon im using a straight silver base then
the light ocean blue metalic folowed by clear
provided you have a reasonable spray gun and compressor
metalic is really no harder to paint then straight color

here is a pic of my steering wheel with a blue pearl over a
made up white color the roof of my sedan is the same
you can see the diference between a straight white pearl
and one with the blue tinge

bit more progress :)
getting real close to finishing the body repairs
so thought i would start cleaning and painting the
front end and underneath
the last pic is of the floor underneath after a quick
wipe with a rag and degreaser
there is no body deadner under the car just dirt
so its getting nice and clean
