V6 conversion and front rack

Post by dogmika »

Any experiences with where the intermediate steering arm runs with a V6 conversion and front mounted steering rack. I don't want to run extractors out the inner guards. Is there a way of fitting custom extractors and intermediate shaft between block and subframe?

well i have a rear mounted rack but i made my own extractors and got them out of the engine bay fairly easily, and i reckon if anything the front mounted rack will make it easier than mine was ....

see mine go out towards the wheel and the steering shaft goes under them, but the front mount rack shaft would go along the edge of the subframe and you could then just bend the pipes in closer to the block and it would be doable i reckon...

hardest part on the passenger side was the alternator :)
