Jacko,

The 9000 mile EK is the one that makes my viens bulge.

Great collection.

Scares me a little to have all the cars in one spot ( bit like all the eggs in one basket) but I am super paranoid.

Mate great to see you have the ability to enjoy your passion.

Regards Greg

Hi there Greg, it's been a while. Thank you! We all feel privileged to own them.

The 9,000 mile sedan is the pride of the fleet, though, the standard 215 Morning grey, the Snowcrest white / Cameo sedan & the Cataract Grey wagon are my favorites .... at the moment.

They are insured & in a safe & secure alarmed space. I see the pore victims of fires & floods and after getting over the shock of the loss of life, one tends to to not get too possessive over material things. Although, it is great to have a passion.

Does the 9000 mile EK still have that "new car" type smell Steve??
I can't think what to write here so this will do.

Hi Terry, yes it does! The seat is sooo soft. When you pull the handbrake on, the indicator or gear leaver, that all click like new!

BTW, I have some amazing reading on the 9,000 mile car. Just need time to scan it all, format & upload.

That's one car I'd especially like to see "in the flesh".Close as anyone would be able to get to seeing a brand new EK Holden in 2009.

A time capsule so to speak.

Steve what size/make tyres have you got on the Honey Beige Ute.
The 9,000 mile EK also makes my vein bulge - great collection.
The only reason for time is so everything dosen't happen at once.
If Macca's home delivered there'd be one less drunk on the road.

Hi Steve, awesome collection to say the very least, the 1961 EK Special Hydra-matic Cameo Beige 9,000 miles should be in a glass case!! As Terry said, "That's one car I'd especially like to see "in the flesh".Close as anyone would be able to get to seeing a brand new EK Holden in 2009.
A time capsule so to speak."

I second that :D You must be a very proud and happy man 8)

Cheers V8EK4us, The children are right into them as you can see three of them are on the forum & have cars here!

We put the 9,000 mile car on the stands to help preserve the original tyres.

Still looking!

I'm with you Craig. I love the Cameo Wagon that Sunny Tim just sold to the captain. I didn't even get a look in :(
