Torana sumps on grey to red conversions

Post by reddo »

Yo all.. :D

Just spotted a Lc torana sump on ebay...
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/HOLDEN-LC-LJ-TOR ... 240%3A1318

Does anyone know if these will do the same job as a eh sump when fitting a red into an early holden??
They have the large sump area right at the back like an EH sump .. Just a bit concerned they arent "shallow" enough where they sit over the cross member.
EH sump steps down in three stages. The torana sump appears to be about the depth of the centre step down on an EH sump. :?:  :?

Yep, I thought it might have been an easy conversion, maybe a cop here or there but it would have needed too much modification, Trev 8) .
