Yeah I would'nt mind going to the drags myself this weekend, but I'm due to have a family affair so we are off camping instead. But I'm sure we will catch up sometime.ratbox wrote:i live in woodstock which is just out of cowra. i know what you mean by dick heads at summernats we realy only go nowadays through habbit as we've been going since the first and it definately has declined (not the quality of cars) just the goof balls they let in, but every year we say this sux not going next year but still we go, i've gone to alot of hot rod stuff as well we used to own an A model roadster/pickup, but found most hot rod events to be pretty boring no offence, i get around abit aswell so may catch up with you somewhere, i'm going to nostalgia drags at WSID this weekend

Hey Ratbox. It is pretty easy with a bit of know how, I still have the template I made for the One piece glass.ratbox wrote:does anybody have a step by step on one peice front windows it looks prety easy but as they say looks can be deceiving
1st you have to fabricate a channel to suit the length of the window runner and extend it around the 20mm mark, you then have to notch that channel at the top to locate it into the original window channel to door frame, on the channel you also have to weld a bracket and nut for fixture of a adjustable bolt for window alignment adjustment, then fit that to the front door frame. then extend the window regulator for full length sweep, a complete I piece bailey channel rubber and Bob's your uncle a 1 piece front window.
Oh by the way I forgot to mention you need to infill the door on the outer and inner section where the 1/4 window used to reside. I actually did have a whole lots of pics for this but I ended up with a virus and deleted my hard drive when I reformatted, thats what you get for not backing up.
Regards John.
WOW OMFG looks choice, those wheels really suit the car,see ya don't have to spend heaps on wheels to get "the look".
I do prefer the quater windows, maybe just to get the air in?
....Now the inside of the brake lense housing thingy, i bet you agonised with that, where to cut in the other colour. Just wondering if the inside should be half and half to follow the inside line of the indicator???
