Thanks Mal, this car was aslways going to be a 2 day a week driver and not to be left out off sight which is a pain in the butt knowing that you can't leave something parked without worrying that some "clown" will scratch itmalcolm wrote: Be carefull not to lose sight of what you want out of this car.
As with mine I wanted it to be a daily driver, now, I take it out on my days off and I'm to shit scared to leave it in the street.
What I see with your build is what happened with mine, the more you look at it, the more you can see ways to improve on your original plan.
Thanks Fatboy!! That does help, it looks like I will scrape in even if I go twin Carbies but that will take a bit more work (ie: sump mod). The EFI injection hat looks fantastic, read the article in SM again .... $6000..FATBOY wrote:Holden 5 litre the injection setup is the same as the article in street machine mag(electronic) i got my hat and injector setup off the guy that makes them for Pro Flo.Bottom half of my motor is in the chassis at my parents house the hat is at home will go and measure for you now the hat is 150mm from top of blower case to the top of injection hat just a comparison my carbies measure 260mm![]()
