It's all good feedback and greatly appretiated.

It has helped me make up my mind on how she will look when I drive her out of the shed for the first time. So now I can get off the computer and get my butt back into the shed!!

The quarterless front window will probably not happen as I want to maintain as much chrome as possible

. Not sure about adding bits to make it "blend" with the flashline kit, I thimk I know what you mean but it may end up with too much "chrome" .... is there such a thing!

, I did the pic in "Paint" which is a basic windows program

thats why there is so much pixelation in the "flashline kit" I added on

EKSPCL, thanks mate, they will look very different when fitted "properly" as the plan was to recess them so they virtually sit flush with the original panel work.

Stage 2 of console which also ended up being a re-designed bit. Running this piece straight through, was originally doing to stop each side of the console and have the centre A/C vent "in the console". The console will now look lower and once all the fibre glassing (like the doors) is done to this section it will have nice flowing contours similar to the dash. Still alot to do on this peice ie: cut out for steering column, more sanding, contouring. The vents were surgically removed from the VN Crumbledoor.

Overall I am reasonably happy with it, will post more when it is covered.

looks good, but seeing as you are ace with the welder, couldnt you incorporate the vents into the dash in similar locations only moved up 10mm? looks to me like there would be space. keep up the top work!

Yes, the extension into the next panel was purely speculative..... and on reflection will not "make" your application - I referred to the '55 'ish Corvette theme..... 'ish....

Floor dip switch hole noted - I expect you were considering retaining the handbrake at that point in time......?

Seeing as you asked, my 2cents worth.

Flutes look way better in the above pic, but they might look better I think if they followed the shape of the ridge in the lower portion of the guard. The lower flute looks to squared off...

i think better if you must have them (i figured you were putting them there for exhaust heat) i reckon you could even loose the bottom flute to bring more into proportion
as to DR's comment, i was just looking at that and thinking this is going to de difficult as there is the line down the guard and door, the line that you mention down the lip of the guard and it's continuation at the bottom then there is also the line of the chrome/stainless molds to contend with aswell

Arent flutes to do with music ?Im really after information on a Giles G tune basic orchestral flute,,. man I got the wrong site ,,,anyway flutes with trumpets out the bonnet, and harmonica exhaust tips with a pearl drum kit brake front end.Sweet as ......la la lahhhhhhhh,, thats me playing me flute

Hey Mick, if you are true to your name "Mick Jagger" you wouldn't be playin' that flute 'cause it would be lost in ya LIPS!!

Bloody good singer though........... I think he finds it easy 'cause he starts 'em flappin' and the rebound from each lip just keeps it goin' !!!

Thanks Ratbox, it is not going to be easy to get it all to look right (the flashline kit doesn't help with is different angles) but the posted pics of the "vents" (for Mick Jagger, so it is not confused with musical instruments or "mouth organs")

and "flutes" for everyone else are very unfinished .... the feedback has been great from everyone and has helped me make some decisions re: the final product. Rosco's idea of the additional trim (corvette-ish) has merit but I wont do one and post it 'cause I'll spend the next week on the computer again istead of in the shed

On a serious note, I got some excellent ideas from Rosco today (via email) and yawl just gunna have to watch this space to find out what it is (No Mick Jagger ... not more flutes!)
