Armadale Auto Parts Open Day - My Story

Post by J »

THIS IS WHAT I WROTE ON ANOTHER FORUM
cant be bothered editing it all cos I am tired - pictures are the same, you guys jusst might not know some of the people I am talking about

ENJOY

Well the day started off nicely, I drove the EK into the city on my L's to catch a train to the Armadale Auto Parts open day (the last chance to advertise my car cruise)
Image

I had photo-copied 200 flyers in preparation for today - unfortunately after 10 minutes on the train I realized I left them at home

After a few phone calls, my hero Pretty in Pink saved the day and picked them up and delivered them for me :D :D :D :D (THANKYOU SOOOO MUCH)

On my walk from the train station a few cool cars roared past, including this pair of 34s 8-)
Image

As the long walk went on another hero of mine Bratt decided to turn around and give me a lift to the show... to save my legs from falling off (thanks)

first thing I noticed was this ugly, yet cool thing on a trailor :?
Image

and here are some pictures of what I saw as I walked around (excuse the arty shots)

It was right about now when Paul arrived with my flyers, so after spamming everybody it was about time to leave....

as I was leaving Bam Bam kindly offered me a lift to the traino in the 57... I wasnt gonna turn that offer down 8-)

Ended up going back to his house, blowing up the cars in a big bubble and playing guitar hero with his mates - I failed

ever been for a ride in a blown 57 and a blown 34?
if not watch click this link and you can go for one

(while I was doing this I also managed to edit some of yours Charlie)

oh and here is a cool picture
Image

Umm after guitar hero, I decided it was time to go home (two tests tomorrow  ) so after catching the train - I had to wait around in the city for an hour (stupid bus)

Most citygoers enjoyed some mid afternoon entertainment - this psycho girl (my ageish) decided to shoplift from Myer. I saw a crowd of people in a circle... I wonder why?
Image
there was a puddle of spit or something on the ground because she was shouting so much....

everyone was taking photos, I pulled out the camera and some dude had a go at me sayin it "aint a public show".....

LOOKD PRETTY FUGN PUBLIC TO ME

but yer normally i wouldnt take photos of that stuff

anyway, hope you enjoyed a pointless story..

I like how your day was jam packed with enjoyment that you made happen ,then while you are on your way home you see someone else your age who has made different choices ........ You win :)\

Thanks for the comments guys,
hilight of the day was definitely the ride in Bam Bam's vehicles.

The show was great and it was good to catch up with a few people - I am yet to meet you Nomad, maybe one day when your car is running, or your not at work

Oh yea I also quite loved putting that stupid man in the city back in his box - surprisingly quick thinking coming from a boy who had little sleep and spent all day walkn around in the heat!
