definately an old shooting rig....

The Bike?
Ok not fb-ek related but here goes.....

It's my bike that is usualy ridden daily, rain/hail/shine (also snow a few weeks back  )

Home built bike with frame mods done by a mate that owns a rod/chopper building workshop.

71 harley shovelhead
74cube motor, ex-drag bike 8) , aftermarket cylinders, forged hi-comp pistons, heads have been "hemi'd" by filling in combustion chambers & reshaped, twin plugs as well, ports have been welded up to allow major porting mods, triple valve springs, titanium retainers & collets, manley oversize valves, split rocker boxes, roller cam & lifters, S&S shorty 'e' series pumper carb, Dyna 'S' ignition with twin coils, custom pipes, 3" open primary, 4 speed castle top box, kick only, chain drive. I rebuilt the motor 3 weeks ago too :)

Frame is 74 FLH, raked until it looked right  , 51 pan front brake & star hub laced to a 21" rim, frame has been de-lugged & welded, rear end lowered 4", 80's rear disc & banana caliper, custom made oil tank, chopped bobbed rear gaurd, no font gaurd, no inicators/horn or any wiring on bars, panhead top clamps, billet trees & fwd controls, old dash with a klms conversion, 5 gall tanks, 'A' model &*#@ tail/brake light, side mounted number plate, has been bare metalled then I just sprayed clear over it  , custom seat covered by a mate, plus heaps of other minor stuff that will bore you even further........... runs very hard & fast.

I built it to what I like & use it all the time, it also does lots of long runs to bike club stuff so you may see me anywhere in the Eastern states on this. So if you see it with a fat guy wearing a German helmet give me a wave..... (not the guy in pic, I took the pic)

i saw factory black EK sedan once with the same shooting buggy option, it was a REALLY good body to  only difference was they had a seat with the steering and pedals very crudely extended so you drove from above the back sea hanging out the roof

For sure hope to catch up one day, here's a pic of my last ride I sold in Feb this year to a guy in Ferntree gully. He's a bass player in "the speed demons" band. Very worked Bonnie....
in the background is the first incarnation of my shovel

Cool bike Dna,

I get up to west sydney a bit, must catch up with ya at some stage.

I do like the springers, plus with the availability of long fronts now better than ever there should be more about in my opinion....
