Whilst finishing the rear of the side window, it was discovered
that the grinder finishing of the rear pillar during the original chop
had thinned the panel to much.
Len could just not weld it without it blowing away.
Solution, cut another section out of the donor vans roof,
bash it into shape with a wooden mallet, replace dodgy section.

This piece, and the rest of the drivers side is now fully welded 8)

So today, I pushed it outside to turn it around so we can start the otherside.
While it was outside, I took some snaps, and stood back to have a good look.
It looks a lot different standing right back from it, than it does
standing next to it in the shed.
Damm that roof is low :twisted: (5' 1/4" lower than stock)

looks great 8) but i dissagree with stingray on the tyres i think they look out of proportion to high

Thommo...looks 8) 8) 8) .

I had the opportunity to have a look at this van in the flesh last week, the workmanship on the chop now is beautiful :wink:
Cant wait to get some side by side shots with my van/s...will provide a good reference for the mods I reckon... :D
