AHD 2008
Thanks Also Stewart for posting up the photos, a couple of good arty shots thrown in there as well.
After a chiily start to the morning, the day turned out fantastic, plenty of winter sunshine with no sign of wind from the day before, A cool band playing to keep the vibe happening for hours of the day and plenty of superb Holdens.
You did a great job along with all the helpers with the BBQ duties and is a credit to the club for providing sausage sang'as for the convenience of its members.
Was great to meet all the crew again and catch up.
I was definitely taken by surprise to pick up a trophy, as the quality of cars there was exceptional and to have my car chosen, For me!, just made it the perfect day.
Thanks to everyone involved.
Regards John

good to see a few of you
the people that run the show are going to cruel it for themselves i know half a dozen people that said they won't go back cause of there no moving the cars rule, one in particular's father was in hospital with a suspected heart attack and they would not let him leave, actually told him to catch a taxi

Thats harsh! Good to see they have some compassion which I'm sure they'll use the excuse about their public liabilty insurance not allowing moving vehicles once open to the public.... I know what I would have done though and it wouldn't have been a taxi.ratbox wrote: one in particular's father was in hospital with a suspected heart attack and they would not let him leave, actually told him to catch a taxi

Hey Matty, you missed a good show! New owner will pick up the ute on Sunday.
Still building the FE as a custom but probably mild not full on.Plans include louvered bonnet (already done by Harkos old man) nosed and decked, floor shift, warmed grey motor, drum brakes!, hollywood moons & whitewalls (need to get another set as they are going with the ute) and some lace paint.
Will post some pics of progress and final pics of ute as it goes out the driveway (sob).
