2 day Cessnock Swap Meet (Newcastle area)

Post by fcv8 »

12th & 13th August 2006

At Cessnock Showground
Over 1,000 sites. This is usally a huge swap meet held over the 2 days so if you can make it for this one you would be sure to pickup some goodies. I am hoping to get up there for at least one if not both days, I missed last years & a mate said he cleaned up with some rare parts pretty cheap.
Cheers
Glenn

P/S Stewart how about a early morning cruise from sydney to cessnock on one of the days, any interest?

I have posted this on fefc site as well

Could be a nice run.

Hi Glenn,

Yes you've got my interest. Its the week after the All Holden Day so not sure what interest I'll get from our Club but I'll flag the idea.

I don't think I'll be able to keep up with you on the cruise though...

well i must say i was a bit disappointed, i thought i would see alot more old holden parts there but really there wasn't alot and the stuff there was, well it was overpriced ... $400 for a fb/ek wagon lower tailgate ... thats a bit excessive to me.

oh well, life goes on!
