Theres a bloke in Queensland that does them , he is the only one I have heard of. They are made of stainless and are around $700 from memory.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

How bad is it? You can buy from paint suppliers a product that seals up (puts a new lining in) the tank. If the rust holes aren't that big maybe this is a cheaper option. I think it was going to cost $100 max to do the tank. Just I have forgotten what it was called
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.

The Stainless Fuel Tanks

Post by earlyholdenfan »

I hate to be pedantic, but just to clarify,
these tanks are fabricated by a good mate of Streetneats, Marty, Marty is a stainless steel fabricator, and general legend working that material!, and Streetneat has helped in the development of the tanks, along with supplying test mules for them and various body styles to make then fit correctly to as many models as possible, so in effect even though they are not Streetneats, they can be purchased through Streetneat.
The tanks are great quality stainless and hold more than the standard, therefore giving you a long range tank, they are custom built to your spec's with regards to fittings for senders and fuel line.
Hope that may help to clarify some of the finer points.
