Thanks for 2008 Nats.

Post by FB MAD »

Thought I'd whack up a post just to thank all those that organised and helped with the 2008 Nationals.

Nothing as good as that goes off with the click of a finger and there would be so many names unknown that would have helped with things, both big and small contributions, to make the great weekend that it was.

This is to thank those unknown names.Well Done!!....thank you.

And also thanks to the many sponsors as well.Their sponsorship would have no doubt helped greatly with prizes and giveaways.

And to everyone that entered cars and those without that just came for a look, thanks as well....... couldn't be the day that it was without the very reason we are there for......... FB's and EK's.

It was great to catch up with some other forum members and to finally put a face to the usernames. As usual for me.... I talk too much  and may have missed meeting other members because of that.

It was our very first nationals and we had an absolute wow of a time.Very family oriented and we were made very welcome.

We will DEFINATELY be at Bendigo '09.

Ditto that Terry :D

The 3 bears had a great weekend away - met too many forum members to list here and also caught up with some of the nationals identities that we hadn't seen for a few years.

Also bagged my first ever nats trophy :D not bad after 10 years of trying  ...

Thank you guys!

How geat were the wagon models, I bet Trev is gonna have problems with his boys fighting over the FB.

OK lets get this staight, my whife Sam won the FB, then they called out ticket A62 which is the one I had (thought we had both prizes :D ) then I was told the color was orange not the black one I had  , so Theo got the EK :D .
Lucky we were traveling with Richard who could fit the prize in his car or we would have had to tow it behind us  , Trev 8) .

Hey Tim, I had a few calls on Sunday from the Byron crew.... They wanted to know what I'd done to the EK, somehow it looked different apparently.....
Probably because it was your Fb! Nice one man!
