Warmaride Heater in an FB

Post by horacey08 »

Could anyone tell me what the original colour of these heaters were - is it a matt dark grey similiar to the dash colour or a matt black - or is it some other colour?

Thanks

As Tim states,
I have only seen the two colours as I believe were original.
Mine came out of an EK in a wrecker's yard in 1974, it didn't look as if it had been altered and had a wrinkle finish satin/almost matt grey finish.
I do not know what the coating was, but it "peeled" off.
I have since sprayed it in hammered metal charcoal - so please don't reference mine as an original colour option.

frats,

Thanks for the replies - it looks like a matt dark grey is the go.
