138 Extractors

Post by MBH222 »

Hi all,
I have done some research and found that redline auto still manufacture the stubby type extractors for the grey motor. These are the type that rejoin the main exhaust very early way before the firewall.
Would these extractors give any more power/performance from a standard grey motor or would it be a waste of time and money?

If anyone is interested in these extractors the redline part no. is:
RE209ST - cost about $180.

Just so happens that I had a set of these fitted to the wagon 2 months ago, and am happy to say they work well. At this stage they are still routed to a standard bore exhaust, so performance / power increase isn't exactly awesome, just better in the lower rev range I feel. Nice note too!
