I have one but its in my caripg wrote:cmon,
someone must have a subframe
othwise i will have to take a trip to the country with some tools...

Seriously though have you thought about sourcing a parts car? I did this, but be careful that the bits you need aren't worse than what you have. The subframe in the one I stripped was so badly rusted that the bottom sections were bowing!
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.

Hello,
I have a really good front subframe with no rust, has been cut out and repaired though.(front lower tie member and one of the legs, I can't remember which one) The battery tray is the original and has rust pitting, it has been coated in a rust preventative sealant paint and won't be seen when the battery is fitted. I bought it for the restoration of an FB.
The first catch is that I am in Sydney, it is too big to post (obviously) however if you are interested I am sure one of the transport companies will take it. It takes two people to lift it comfortably.
Second catch is that it was originally off an EK, so I swapped the chassis number over (doh, you want an EK one) to the one off my FB.
It is fully painted in low gloss GMH black but I wrote the exterior paint colour in crayon under the paint on the passenger side of the radiator as per original. This could be stripped off and redone.
I would like to sell it to make some room in the garage. It is a big lump to have sitting around with no further use.
thanks.

Hi Patrick,
I live in the southern suburbs of Sydney, it is a bit more than a coupla
hours away from Wagga Wagga though! Last time I drove there in my SS
ute (and in a hurry) it took 4 hours and that definitely was not on the
speed limit (no cops reading here I hope!) I paid $100 for it before
repairing and painting, so you can have it for that. Let me know if you are
still interested and when/if you still plan on visiting.
Thanks,
Troy
