go the wagons....
April 1st - am............ no fools jokes please.........
Matty, if it were to be an original vehicle - there are two distinct locations they were fitted - by the dealer........ mine is on the outside of the ridge along the l/hs fender - I have noted others to be mounted on the inside of this ridge.
As a modified, I feel it more aesthetic to "hide" aerials - under the guard, under the hood-lining, even a soft plastic coated wire type hard up against the top of your front window rubber would serve for what I feel the radio is used for - mainly short trips and then only for news, sport or just to quieten down the "din" of some noise..............
Most people these days, have a hidden CD, MP3 player so as to avoid the usual station crap which their advertising clients pay very heavily to fill our electronic greenhouse with...........
my thoughts - I won't hide my aerial - although not the original - it is in the original location and I feel "adds" to the look of what I enjoy.......
frats,
Rosco

Matty I found a hole under the passenger side dash. It is used to do up the top bolts at the back of the front gaurds. This a perfect spot to mount an aerial, reception is OK. The aerial when pulled out is un-noticeable and runs along the kick panel to the floor. Easy....
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.

Cool idea. DR.
I tried the stick on aerial, the type with the thin copper strip and you stick it along the base on the inside of the windscreen. Had miles to much interference, so I pulled it off. It looked crappy from the outside anyway.
Nowadays they play to much crap on the radio, so mp3 discs are for me.
