2026 Afterparty proposal

Post by Blacky »

OK - we can’t not have an afterparty , here’s what I propose

Monday we head off through Woodenbong up towards Beaudesert, then off to Tambourine Mountain for a look at all the touristy crap up there and a spot of lunch. Spend the afternoon on Tambourine Mountain then head down to Canungra for the night staying at Canungra Pub total distance 225km

Tuesday we head off to Beechmont to the Happitat Adventure park to frighten crap out of ourselves on the zip line and the lookout

Then we head off to Tyalgum via Chillingham for an underwear change and lunch. Then a meander to Murwullimbah for a look around and stay the night at the pub

Total distance about 115km

Wednesday morning we are off to get our minds blown at Nimbin - very commercial these days but still a bit of humour then across to Byron for lunch and a look around if we can find somewhere to park in the overpopulated shithole - but I guess we need to go there ….. we then get the hell out of there and go somewhere nice - dinner at the Billinudgel pub and stay at Ocean Shores Image

Total for the day about 130km

What do you reckon ? We will either peel off and head north if fuel is available or go home the short way across the bottom again if it’s not - or if it’s terrible we might even ship the ute home or store it somewhere.

When looking at accommodation I enquired for 8 people assuming 4 couples and all places said they had room - all towns have alternatives available if we end up with a big mob anyway.

Yeah I know Mick - it's a dump I hate the place but I figured people would want to go there - if not bewdy we will go to Mullumbimby or Lennox Head or somewhere nicer.

I’d rather bypass Byron. Lennox would be my preference.
