got these 2 from the grave yard had them stripped of the chrome
they were pitted fairly bad there is one that has the very tip gone and the other with a pice out the side
the guys at the chroming place said they were to far gone to do anything 4 them? :(
any thoughts i was going to load them up with primer filler and just paint them flat silver could be used on a rat or somthing

Yeah- sell them to me, I have been looking for a rough one to see if I can use it as a template to make them out of stainless on a CNC mill....
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

weld up the rust with the oxy, grind the over fill.

Etch prime, undercoat then spray... should stick.

Hi there, In NEW ZEALAND here at a place called GISBORNE at the local electroplaters ,the owner has purchased a gizzmo that will put a coating on anything that looks exactly like chrome, ideal for parts that are beyond the standard for electroplating. However, the price is about the same as chroming. Could be worth a look ? Regards Daz.
