I fitted 179 and all synchro in my ute without cutting the floor, well hardly, apart from massaging for the side cover and reshaping the inspection cover. It did require converting the column shift. That was after blowing up the crashie at Balina. I think you would remember that. Having said, crashbox will do the job behind the 149 no problem.

i should have put "149" but still think a red crash will be fine, though an auto is what i want so cutting the floor i'm sure will happen, but the want to sell it is mainly due to i'm to old and impatient to deal with the farking around getting parts simple things are not easy to get any more and dealing with people that i'm sure are just put on earth to make my life harder isn't helping

i have the engine i want for the van it's in the sedan i have and would like to put a legit one in the sedan to sell it i can get a 186 that's had an external destroke to 149 but like i said would prefer a legit one which i can also get, i tried to get it a while ago but the bloke after saying he had it just dicked me around i had forgotten all about it till i had a post on facebook looking for one where the guy reminded me he had it apologized for dicking me around last time and has proceeded to dick me around again

got rid of a great van because i couldn't sell this, though now in flat black with the roof done i might be able to move it but that would be like shutting the gate after the horse has bolted
