Every time I read a comment about the 'Misses Permission'
Mephious one liner always comes to mind,

'It easier to ask for forgiveness, than to ask for permission'

i like that rule, but seeing im not married to her yet, i play the "why bother to tell the misses at all" game. Now is there some way i can massage the fact that when she meet me five years ago i only had two cars, now when she moves in my garage accidently is hiding seven??

Do i just keep the garage closed? tell her is my domain?

Ratbox, i love the suggestive selling, i wonder if jacko wants fries with that.

Now my turn.... Ratbox.. you still want patina the fe right....

Dont remember posting that quote Thommo but I impressed myself the other week ............

Feb 12 - noticed Pen's post on the FE - FC holden forum for V8 conversion kit ( all the parts remaining to complete the V8 set-up in the van ... had brakes , chassis, diff and gearbox sorted ).

Hmmm how to slip this past the missus with the current work on the sedan and van .....

Feb 14 - Valentines Day !!!!! Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm , a new addition to the family maybe ??

Image

Feb 16 - Says to missus whilst shes holding the pup "found a bargain" the most important words to use on the missus .... all the V8 gear I need for the van. Reply "Go for it" ....... I tell her " Also Gino (mechanic) is selling a cheap (nother important word) SBC ". Reply "isnt he cute (the pup) !!! Yeah you should get that motor "

Dont think it will be this easy once we get married so making the most of it.

P.S Sorry for the Hi-jack !!

Very nice lineup indeed, Steve.

Maybe if you keep them all together in the dark and provide some "mood" music - you may need to re-count after a gestation period.................

thanks for you post - very impressed.

Steve love seeing that 'Fleet'. Remember driving the ute circa 1993-94 had a nice exhaust note. Also remember driving the van down to Batemans Bay nationals 1996. Good to see that something is happening with that FB standard. It deserves it :)

Thanks Tayz, the green sedan is the one you helped me with (Kim from Hillside Sydnham). I still owe you one!

Hey Rosco, thanks for the compliment. I do need one more. Maybe a Van .. FB ... Purple.... :D

Hey Sunny Mick, I do recall. Hope the Ute still sounds the same. Hasn't been started for years. Yes, Batemans Bay. First time I didn't drive an FB to the Nats. I drove my new Baby Daughter in a BMW with Donna. All three of my Honey Beige FB's were there. Which reminds me I need to put up some more archive Nats pics. I saw all the Batemans Bay pics the other day.
