DR's got a point, the van is having a bit of an identity crisis.
Strip all the crap off it and paint it matt black for the time being.
Later on, think about a two-tone orange and purple

Hi All. Rob I was the good looking bloke in the passengers seat   .
My Friend just brought the blue fb and we took it for a run from Sydney.
Things that are going will be the grill and scoop plus the seats OH how could i forget the writing on the side, I will be putting a bench seat in as well as a wagon seat in the rear. I like the matt black but i like yellow more. The wheels are staying for the time beeing. Maybe a set of convo pro's down the trackand a tunnel ram or blower depending on the $$$$$$$..(not likely thou as i want to be able to drive it when i want)Thats about all ive got planned for it. I just want a nice looking van That pops wheelies in 1st 2nd and 3rd gears
Cheers Mark

Why not two tone it then using the FB wagon colours? Yellow with white scallops and a dark blue pinstripe perhaps. Ties it into the interior and will work well enough with the wheels.

Whats wrong with the buckets
Make sure you mount the seat a bit lower too.

You have to leave the sticker on the rear window.

Get that dirty look from old ladies.

thats one sweet van mate.

Keep the sticker,if not peel it off, we can put it on jackos.

A bit of power in that puppy, so i reckon go red, orange is everywhere now since mick sprayed his van.

Love it Mark, really nice find !!! Great to see another V8 !

Whats the original colour on the plate out of curiosity ? I think a pastel original type colour would complement the customizing and highlight the mods (this is coming from the guy with dog dick red blown sedan)

From my own perspective, my apologies if theres something you dont agree with (this aint ment to offend) :
- The visor doesnt do the chop justice
- Good call on the grill, back to original
- Bench seat up front ........ dont get me wrong I love a bench seat (just not in a van) . Hard to get access to the rear whilst driving (i.e send the missus up back to the esky for a cold one). If your putting a rear seat in the kids will need to jump over or you will need to put a handle on the upper tailgate and the kids will need to jump over the rear seat.
- Scoop off and the hump for the blower gear can go.
- Personally prefer the fridge door handles but they work with the customizing already done to the van.
- Needs chrome on it somewhere ( bonnet or tailgate ) that says Holden.

I dont think the wheels look bad ? id switch the paint before deciding. Just the center caps on the back seem missing.
Bumpers look good as does the ariel !

Cant wait to see this real life, any engine shots ? Hows it sound ???
