first day Coffs to Cobar about 860Ks 3 fuel stops 9.5 hours day 2 Cobar to Peterborough about 750Ks 3 fuel stops 1 speeding fine 7.5 hours, f#%k SA 12kmh over in a 110 zone and booked for the whole 12 over in NSW the cop would be having a bad day to even pull you over for that and definitely you wouldn't get booked for the whole 12, on the plus side lucky he wasn't around when i was 65kmh over (over 110) or when i was doing 110 in the kilometers and kilometers of 80 work zones where absolutely no work was going on

Bugger. Fines in SA aren’t cheap either. I used to go everywhere at 80mph in my sedan. These days I generally sit 2kmh over. I’ve been booked for being 4kmh over.

not holding my breath but talking to a South Australian today and said he was going to email the fine to me he said i may be in luck SOMETIMES they don't do it kinda like a warning without giving me a warning and i drive off and do the same thing
can only hope

yeah got fine today, but will send in a letter of explanation
stayed at Peterborough, Coober Peddy Marla was a fuel stop now in Alice Springs (seems to be a bit of a dump) going from here on Sunday to Ayers Rock for 2 nights then back to Coober Peddy for 2 nights then most likely a big day driving to get back to Broken Hill out to Silverton maybe there for a night and Broken Hill for a night then back home stopping somewhere overnight
