3/8” UNF die would have been handy but yes ok. Good feeling to have that done I bet. Too many photos are never enough.

Can never have too many photos Brett - always good reference points for others in the future and never boring! Always a little disappointing when a build starts with where they got to, and not all the trial and error that got them there. But maybe that's just me.

Ha Scott, I've shown everything but my lunch in my builds😁. I'll show the back axle when brakes are in. You lot are soooo demanding🙂

Bit of a hold up. Went to put 2nd backing plate bits on and discovered a missing piston in the new cylinder. Glad I noticed it - otherwise would've been a big mess and lots of bad words. Off to Rares tomorrow.

Finally finished rear brakes today. Very time consuming and fiddly. Turns out a couple of new Rares springs weren't quite the right shape, the adjuster plate on one side was bent, and adjusters come in a left and a right ( who would have thought?)
New handbrake cable is OK but would have been a bit better if there was an extra 2cm of shielding on each side as it's a bit stressed on the clamps - but the suspension is much lower than it will ever be on the road, so maybe not an issue.
As promised, a pic or 2 of an HR rear axle as it sits on EK springs.
An activist was using my shell for propaganda today. The irony is exquisite- given what it is and what the environment had done to it. Couldn't resist posting it.ImageImageImage
