Didn't get on the forum last night, did a double shift and a long shift today.

Anyway,

Grey motor sump length is 25 inches.
Red motor EH sump length is 27 1/2 inches.

So there's 2 1/2 inches difference in the length of them.

Terry.
I can't think what to write here so this will do.

did a trial fit with the sump shown in the pics and it missed the draglink by about one and a half inches. have now been informed by my friend that he took it off a LC torana and not an LJ, dont know if there is any difference. Anyway, decided to go for the EH sump as this one has no oil pickup and needs repair. Just bought a sump and pickup from EH for $50.00 so not a bad deal, the guy even caustic washed it all before posting it.

Glad to hear you picked on up, Dave.
I can't recall there being any difference between and LC and an LJ - except for the size of the engines..............
