Taking Friday off from work so I have time to play with the brakes to make sure I pass, now that the engine is running smoothly I'm going to check manifold vacuum and see if it has come up if so I'm going to Tee piece it into the booster to assist the vac pump for added assistance and hopefully this will be good enough.

Latest update
Ok passed engineering but engineer still thought I was having to apply a bit to much pressure so the proviso that I pass was that take it to a brake specialist to have it checked.
To lay it out - I had disconnected the booster permanently from the manifold, fitted the extra vacuum tank (3 lt) in line with the first small one, re-bled the brakes and found a bit of air in the rear lines.
So loaded Frank onto the trailer yesterday morning and to him to a shop in Mandurah, apart from being brake guys they do 4wd's and a whole pile of other stuff, they also do the final engineering inspections for registration  so I get a phone call late yesterday afternoon from John the owner and also the engineering inspector, he says to me "what was the drama with the brakes that your engineer was going on about, brakes are fine work really well" he carried out a brake test and he will give me report to say so, this while he was doing his 5th lap of the block, he thought Frank went pretty well  he also said he was happy to do final inspection for rego
Really close now

Received approval letter from Department of Transport on Thursday   booked in for what I hope is the one and only final pits inspection on the 15th if all goes well then I can pick up my plates

Going to put Frank up on car stands today and get underneath and make sure everything is ok, I think I'm going to remove the external fuel pump as well, don't really think it is needed as the problem I thought I had was a timing issue with the engine not fuel starvation and it will make it a bit cleaner and pump does make a bit of noise.
