Brett,

I'm concerned about scale with a photo. I'd have to draw the pattern on graph paper to photograph it. Call me old-school, but it's easier to send a hard copy. And I'm happy to send a copy of the pattern to anyone else who'd like it.

Got Rob's scale drawings of inner sections today. Thanks Rob. If anyone would like a copy I'll trace them out and send on to keep the karma going! Won't get to it for a few days, but if I make a decent go of it I'll post some photos when I've fitted them.

Great Blacky. I think it's in all our interests to get as many panels in production as we can. There are only so many parts cars out there.

Blacky, has EKmart got a left and right set of these two cross members? It would be good to get templates done for them two. At the very least I need em for project2Image ImageImage

Thank you. I'm suggesting that Sasha looks into making the square reinforcement square profiled panels that go under flooring to support front seat. I got some from you before but they are now on Wilma and she's not letting goImageImage

Another question in the long journey of many questions. My old girl has a row of self tapper holes along the rear beaver(?) panel behind the rear bumper. Is there a rubber strip that goes there? If so, any photos available? I dont think I've seen this on the forum before.
Many thanks
B

Yes Mate,

A rubber goes on that bit secured with a strip very similar to the under bonnet rubber flaps strips (probably the same just cut shorter).

It stops the crud coming up from under the bumper, I can almost guarantee there is a negative pressure area there at speed so it will suck up dust etc or dirty water when raining.

If anyone knows where to get the rubber from I will also be interested.

Yes. Original rubber plugs in to holes in the tail light bases and screwed to the beaver in between with an ally I think strip running between the lights. Stops any mud etc thrown up there from underneath. No repro of this. Only FE FC which is not worth adapting. You should get an L profile from rubber store that you can screw up with a 10mm light gauge metal strip with the edges folded over for cross sectional strength. Or just contact glue on finished paint, or delete altogether. You won't see it Brett.

Thanks Clay. Did the strip go out horizontally towards the middle of the bumper or just hang down?

Sticks out horizontal about 60mm Brett. Tucks under the bumper top.
