So I am back on the job.
Have fabricated a new parcel shelf extending it out at the top by 75mm as the seat was laying back to far at the top. Also fitted the retractable seat belts and made up the bottom mounts for the seat. I now need to glue the top seats together so it is a one piece unit as well as add some more foam into certain areas.

Hey Taz,
What sort of vintage air con system did you end up going for?
Was it a builder series?
Cheers Nick

Hi Taz,
Did you have to do a import declaration ?
I just bought some gauges and can't get them out of customs until I declare them (being over $1000 aus) I need to do a declaration and quote a tariff code for the gauges, think I can find that ??? no chance.
Regards Greg

Right is it possible to copy the stuff about the import tax duties to a new thread? Once that is done I will delete the posts
.
Now I finished welding in the bottom seat mounts today. I am very happy to say the the upper and lower seats are mounted as they were in the statesman. Very happy with the end product
. Next step is to glue in and reshape some foam.

So I manage to get a couple of hours on the EK tonight. Tidied up the boot area and started framing up where the fuel tank will go
