R & R Festival at Victor Harbor

Post by Wrongway Roger »

Hi,
The club is attending the Rock n Roll Festival at Victor Harbor on the Sunday 16th September.
Meeting at Bunnings Mile End at 7.00 am, heading off at 7.30 am via Southern Expressway.
We will be stopping at the Liberty at Seaford to regroup and pick up any southern members.
This should put us at Victor Harbor at around 9.30 am to set up.

If you have not entered, you can do this on the day.
There is no entrance fee this year so let have a big turn out.
Cheers,
Roger

That sounds like a great weekend. Cars, music, and a cuppla cleansing ales.
I’ve been to Victor a few times for sailing championships, it’s a beaut’ spot. It took me a while to get used to the spelling though - “Harbor” rather than “Harbour”. I believe “harbor” is more of an American use?

Enjoy,

John

Hi,
A couple of us did the drive to Victor Harbour. We lost one, Veto with a rattley water pump at Mt Compass, who turn around with a couple of bottles of water to get home.
A good turn out of cars from rods to classic . I will try to load some photo's but i'm not always sucessful.

Thanks Rog. Looks like I missed a great cruise. Plenty of nice looking cars by the look. Not having a car on the road I opted to attend the Gawler swap meet on the same day. Thanks for posting.
Cheers
Clay

Thanks Clay. We had a good location up from the main reserve and out of the cold wind.
A couple of our member went to Gawler swap meet so number down on last year.
There were a few " new " cars not seen before which drew crowd for most people of the day

We may make this an annual event for the club.

Cheers
Roger
