Club Rego Morning

Post by Wrongway Roger »

Hi,
We are having our annual Club Rego morning on the 22nd July at the RAA at 101 Richmond rd, Mile End.
This so we can update the log books, etc.

There will be a boot sale for FB and EK parts only so if you have any parts that you may wish to sell then bring them along.
It is not a open boot sale so only FB-EK parts no garden gnomes or bric a brac.

We will have the BBQ going so grab a sausage while you are there.

Cheers,
Roger

In the calendar mate. Haven’t got a runner yet but I might bring some parts along, and my sausage tummy.

Apologies for tonight. Had to go home early so I can work on the ute’s steering.
Cheers
Clay

Great turn out at the Rego Morning today and good to see the support for all.

BIG THANK YOU to Cary who convinced his boss to allow us to use the car park at a RAA.
Also a special thank to Paul who stepped and handled the log books and to Anne-Marie and Kati with membership renewals.

Signed up a couple new members which is fantastic.
I took a some photos when I was no talking so only got a few

Good fun event. Thanks to the committee. I was too stunned by all the cars, parts and banter to talk to the workers. As would be expected the utes and commercials really floated my boat, specially wedgewood blue EK van. Nice original daily driver. Swapped some tin for alloy, enjoyed a couple of szusages, made some new contacts and learned a few facts. Did you know all panel van bodies were built at Woodville in Adelaide. Therefore all panel vans have body colour firewall.

Always good to connect with others, who have the same interests, that is what car clubs are for.

Did not know that van being built in Adelaide so I have learnt something new to today.
I pickup up a FC rear bumper for the ute, a bit dented and rusty but I should be able to make it work.

That was our first attempt at a boot sale for FB & EK only parts so fairly happy with the support.
You can bet on some one needs some thing for a project or just a spare. Might try it again in the warmer weather.

Cheers,
Roger
