Thanks for posting Rog. I love the FC van. Grey really suits the early commercials. Wonder if Jeff Stewy had his FE wagon there.
Cheers

Cheers Rog. Been one or two baby blue ones I’ve seen around SA going back to 1980s.

Hey Roger,
It was a good roll up and mix of vehicles, well done. I think my favourite was the original FJ Ute, with a couple to choose from.
Regards
Stephen

It was a good mix of cars with some that had not attended, in previous years.
I missed seeing a lot of the cars as they was stuff to do all day.
We dodged the weather a little as it was forecasted to be 35 on the day but only made it to 31 at Glenelg.
4 degrees may not sound much but if you out in it all day it makes a difference.
We start the process of review shortly to see what worked, what needs work and what we can add for 2019.
Happy to hear suggestions.
Only had one minor issue on the day with a club not happy where they were directed to park. Its a challenge to try to keep everyone happy.
Thanks again to all and look forward to AHD 2019
cheers

Hi all,
I just received the May edition of Street Machine and there is a write up and photos for this years All Holden Day.
Never thought the day would come when my crusty wagon was in a magazine.
A great coverage for our event show casing the cars in South Australia.

Yes Clay,I was there in the FE wagon. It was our FE/FC Club president that was more unhappy than most. We have supported our FB/EK brothers right from the start with at least 6 cars every year. We have usually parked alongside Adelphi Tce with the humpy crowd being on the corner. The big problem that I can see is that there seems to be so many late model commodores that fill the reserve. Being All Holden Day I realise you cant rule later models out. My Personal view is that a lot of people want to see our older models. Maybe All Early Holden Day. I will still be there regardless of what happens every year I can. Keep up the good work, it is a great showcase of our cars. Cheers Jeff (Stewy)

Sorry I missed you Jeff. Commodores, well they are great as donor cars...... hang on, don’t you include a sportswagon in your collection?
I wonder if the event has out grown the venue. A great pity because the location is excellent. I know that the organisers are doing their very best and the day is an all out favourite. It would not be the real event with out the FE FC club being represented, that’s for sure.
Cheers
