Sub Frame Mount

Post by barryjw »

G'day, I have recently a rebuild project on an EK ute. The start point for me is the inner and outer sills, however I also need to replace the front lower mount point for the subframe/front quarter panel. What I am starting with is not much chop and will be hard to use as a template, Does anyone have a suitable supplier to have some manufactured, or some other words of wisdom?

You need dr Frankenstein. I recon the reason no one makes these is one can't be found that's not rusted Barry. So says Ray Taylor at bimbadeen Brizvegas who makes a lot of repair sections and has done for many years. You will find info in many of the build threads on this forum to inspire you. Have a look at the bringing back old timer build by Stuart (Parisian Lilac).
Cheers
