Heater dash lever

Post by FJWALLY »

Hi - looking for the Heater dash lever that fits into the chrome facia to complete my heater addition- if anyone can help point me in the right direction - looking for original but does not need to be perfect just good condition is ok to match with the existing one.
Cheers
Rob

Hi Rob
If you can't get hold of one they can be pretty easily fabricated by reversing a spare Lenin vent lever and mucking around a bit.

Thanks Errol - Ive seen the aftermarket levers around but they don't have the chrome bit on the end - can they be just pinched off an old car?

Yep... take two original single-lever heater controls, and cannibalise them to make a twin-lever one. The chrome bit on the end (the bit your finger actually touches) is held on with a small grub screw. They reverse around to suit the other side nicely.
