Hi all,

The sun shined for us today out at Prospect with 23 cars turning up for our Annual Show and Shine.

Several of the guys cook up a mighty fine BBQ lunch which unfortunelately brought around a thousand flies but once the food was gone some were they.

They rest of the afternoon was spent sitting around talking. The FB Sports boys couldn't work out who had the hottest car so off they went test driving, it appears that Wayne (retro) was the winner. Well that's what he told me.

Thanks to all those who made it happen.

Hey everyone,

Ditto all the above Tony and Wayne - it was a great day. Many thanks to Matthew (Brown Bear) and Waynes (Retro) for handing over their keys and allowing me take their sport FB's for a spin...lotsa fun...the verdict...Mats FB has plenty of torque, a pleasure to drive...Waynes FB just wants go...revs till the cows come home and sounds oh so sweet.

A special thanks to Sean Griffin for handing his keys over to some dummy who locked his keys in their boot... His was the fifth key I tried and voila - one open FB boot.

Terry - Mr Whippy kept coming back I think he made a motza.

My pics to come tomorrow...

regards

We had a great day out - thanks to the committee and all who got in and made the day a success!

Good to get off the fold out chairs and into the cars for a test-run... it was my understanding that Pete's FB quietly celebrated victory (sprint car engines do that..) and that Lou's wagon was lucky to escape being loaded up and 'tested' :D

Great to catch up with everyone again - looking forward to Umina beach next year!

Cheers guys 8)

Thanks tony for the pics, im glad someone remembered. As for the dragways..... i love em.

Peter and i actually were havin a small one on one on the way home down the highway. All in good fun, i think we are pretty close ( not that im encouraging speeding or anything illegal  ). Maybe we can settle this one on the track one day......lol.

Terry, no its not my feet, although i reckon the guy in the whippy van had some fresh soft serves when he saw the line up of the club cars today.

Stewart once again your photographic skills exceed expectations.

You are right about peters and my fbs, they do look a treat together.
