Re: Anyone seen this one about?
Now that looks like fun!
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.
Re: Anyone seen this one about?
I saw that one on Gumtree myself Gazza I would think that the price is pretty fair when we all know how much we spend getting a car rebuilt and through engineering and being a SBC with all the paperwork you couldn't build it for that.

What a car is worth and what a car sells for are 2 different thingsFireKraka wrote:I saw that one on Gumtree myself Gazza I would think that the price is pretty fair when we all know how much we spend getting a car rebuilt and through engineering and being a SBC with all the paperwork you couldn't build it for that.

At that price I don't think it will sell - it is not in concourse condition,
Compared to this
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1960-FB-Hold ... 339f1a68ed
which has had a full nut and bolt resto with everything replaced or new.... even this can't sell for $10k less
Re: Anyone seen this one about?
Hey D-Man I agree with you that a car is only worth what somebody is willing to pay I was only making the point that we all know how much it costs to build something to the point of full registration.

Cheap in my opinion, would cost more than 30k to build a Chev powered EK
Car 10 - 15
Engine 5
Trans 2.5
Dif 2
hr Front 3
Tail shaft .5
Radiator
Wiring
Brakes
Wheels & tyres
Steering
Chassis kit
Welding
Labour $$$$$$
Engineering
The list goes on.
30+ in no time

That was my point Gazza and D-MAN is right as well you never get it back I think if were trying to make money out of it we would all be broke the only ones that seem to make money are the supposed resto shops if we take our cars to them.
