I have posted a pic of a van I did my best to buy in 2009. Maybe it should be the the 'Spotted' section but bugger it, the car should have been mine. It was all going sweet over a week or so of sending me pics and when I was ready to pay the owner never replied to my emails. I remember calling him but can't recall our conversation. I do remember that he had a coach building business in Queensland and he was going through some tough times and had to sell the car. I have cried everytime I look at it
Does anyone know of the car????
I have loads of pics if any of you are interested for whatever reason.
Was the coach building business on the Sunshine Coast?
The dude that runs/owns that now owns Classic Ridz (that's how it's spelt) and I'm pretty sure they built this thing.
They would probably be able to tell you about it of you wanted to track it down again.

is it a red motor 5 speed?
I don't have all of the pics I thought I had and I don't really know a lot about cars unlike you guys but I remember the entire running gear was based on a VR/VS and a V6 with auto????. You will know exactly from these pics I have and you can refresh my memory.
Yeah Doller, Don't get me started. I should delete the pics from my computer I guess. Quite literally I rang him to sort out the transport and payment details and I was happy to pay the $23,500. I am just about to post the pics I have of the car in 'Spotto' so go have a look. You will cry along with me.

HI Wot79,
Thanks for the advice but I already have a ute. If you would like to see it then look a few posts down 'My EK Ute of Sorts'. Not bad but would rather the van.
I feel your pain mate - had a very similar thing happen to me with the FB/EK in the forum header. I contacted the guy , did the deal over the phone , agreed to pay what he was asking for it , rang him back half an hour later to get his bank details and the rotten prick had sold it on me
That would have been near on 10 years ago and I am still dark
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Its happened to me lots of times also. My attitude now if its meant to be it will be. Too many times ive bought something because there was an urgency that it might get sold only to regret the purchase.
Now I just think there is something better around the corner.
Some deals ive done have taken years to complete. The alfa I just bought took five years.
Shite, we are all suicidal over a missed opportunity. We should start a new forum for MOF's, Miserable Old F#@%s. Okay everyone say together "let's move on"
