I'm still trying to work out what a thongslapper is Sounds like an unwelcome guest at a toga party.
Personally, I love a good 253. Recently been having thoughts of putting modified grey motor rocker covers on one, complete with breathers, then painting it grey and sticking it in an otherwise stock looking FK...
get 2 thongs and slap them togeather in quick sucsession then try to find someone with the typical '70's '80's dual 2" sports exhaust system on there 253 powered car get them to give it a bootfull up the road you will soon hear what we mean
sometimes yor just better off shitting in yor hands and clapping

nailed it!
Couldn't have put it any better Mick!
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.
i would more likely call it the sound of a v8 thong slap or not v8's sound great
i remember when i was a kid and you heard or seen a hot car comming towards you or away
and turning to your best buddy or dad and saying is that a 6 and then saying oh no thats a 8 nicccceee
and giving them the old spin the wheels hand signal and 9 times out of 10 the bloke in the 8 would light them up
ahh the good old days

Something like this??????
wanker????
I'd rather consider myself as an "owner operator"!!
Hi
made a start on the chassis kit today got my local metal mart to cut to length and make up some
5mm plate with correct holes all up cost me under $100
then i started to weld it up ready to bolt and weld under
the wagon couple of more plates at the front and its done
just about to paint underside of the wagon and fit up the diff and front end so thought I would post up some pics of how good and clean the
floor inner sills and cargo area is in this wagon no body deadner black jack in sight you don't find them like that too often never had any rust repairs done under there
there was a couple of pin holes in the rear floor pans but just a quick zap with the mig and there gone I did have to replace the cross member sections
under the front but they weren't that bad more because im putting the v8 in so wanted it strong as I can get it
yep gotta love 'em like that I'm in the club aswell with the ute I got it's right up there aswell kinda a shame I'm gunna cut the floor up and put a bigger hump in
sometimes yor just better off shitting in yor hands and clapping
I think all the shit I copped about cutting them up must have sunk in as now I kinda feel guilty doing it, and as much as I want to keep the grey I know I just won't be happy with it
I think it's a selling thing as I know that as soon as I get a decent offer it'll be gone and as much as I hate to say it a stocker may be easier to sell than a cut up one but of coarse that depends on who is looking on the day
sometimes yor just better off shitting in yor hands and clapping
just been cleaning and painting parts for the wagon
and waiting for parts in the mail shocking this time of year
any way trying to do something on the wagon every day running out of time for christmass finish
oh well early new year if my parts ever get here
