:ebiggrin: picked up my motor this week pretty tidy for a old girl (1969)
ive got to clean paint it and fit some new gaskets extractors and new elect dizzy
get it running nice on the stand and go from there :thumbsup:

started making a stand today so i can work on it and then run it on there
it needs a few gaskets( rocker cover and valley gasket) and i want to paint it before it go's in
still need to finish the red wagon but theres only a bit of wirring to go on that then its up for sale
at least it is driveable now and i can move it out of the shed so i can work on the FB :thumbsup:

Hi
small up date got some parts back from the blasters rocker covers and air cleaner
should come up nice once painted also picked up a new decal for the air cleaner
The motor is now firmly on the stand i made and ready for new gaskets 8)

Spent the day listening to lots of V8's yesterday, at Powercruise.

Hi got the fb on stands pulled out the old diff ready for the lc lj diff
after i clean and de bracket it and paint it
got hold of a hk column shift auto steering column ( collapesable ) wich the fb steering wheel should fit without to much trouble
also got most of the HR front end painted enjoying getting back into the fb :thumbsup:

JAY ya putting new windsheild wipers on a busted windsheild there buddy :lol: you painted the front end then have to grind and weld on it for the engine mounts and rack

good to see some progress :thumbsup:

well loooooook out :lol:
got all the brackets removed off the torrie diff and ready for fb saddle's
have gas for the mig now so can start on the chassis kit
hope to have this car finished before christmass yes thats this chrissy :thumbsup:

hope to manage that with the FB i have, mine's not that technical but f#%k i'm slack lately so we'll just see :lol: was sposed to go to sydney to get some stuff done that is beyond me (structural welding) on thursday but with the fires it will probly be put off again as i might not get through

I'm still trying to work out what a thongslapper is :think: Sounds like an unwelcome guest at a toga party.

Personally, I love a good 253. Recently been having thoughts of putting modified grey motor rocker covers on one, complete with breathers, then painting it grey and sticking it in an otherwise stock looking FK...
