Hi all,
I am looking to buy an FB sedan and just wanted to check out some info about it as the current owner's knowledge of its history is limited. Is there anyone on here who knows how I can find out the build info for the vehicle - original colour etc. Is there any way to find out where the vehicles were sold etc?
The VIN is FB46513M
Cheers

Welcome to the Forum CnP,
For the names of the original colours you will need to get the colour ID off your tag on the firewall then refer to this page...

mate when you look at the car again, take a look on the firewall, behind the carbie (passengers side), there should be a small id tag, a bit larger than a business card. On this tag will be items listed such as paint, trim, body numbers and items of the like. Try and get the numbers/codes from this tag and that will help you answer your questions.
This site has a post that will help you encode the numbers, as such, will lead to name of colour etc.
If this tag has been removed, make sure you ask the seller for it, its part of the cars identity, and may be required for rego.
see how you go, if you have any problems well contact your local car club, or post those codes on here, and you might get someone to show you a pic of that colour scheme.
Good luck.
