or if you don't like the look of the aussie speed ones, how about something like these?

(cheaper and better quality than the aussie speed ones)

I like them, the fact there isn't any wing nuts holding them on they look clean. What brand are they? and where do you get them?

cheers

Scott, they're yank products; made to suit 97 stroms which are slightly wider neck than aussie stroms. I got a mate to turn some shim rings out of alloy; they then fitted fine - they use grub screws to fit...

(later I realised I probably could have cut up the Leader of the Opposition's aluminium egg rings to make shims, but she'd take a rather jaundiced view of that...)

Cost USD75 each (including 4" filter element - reusable) plus postage. When I got them, our $ was USD1.08, the pair including postage then cost less than ONE similar aussie speed air cleaner (with no postage).

Highly polished, very good quality, 4 or 5 different styles available (they call them '2 barrel air cleaners'). Easy to deal with, parts arrived here about 10 days after ordering...

check out www.otbgear.com

cheers, jack
