Selling Fb special wagon

Post by colzy28 »

Hey guys.
I havnt been on here for agers I know. And I'm sorry bad news is what brings me back on here. But I've had some bad family issues which have resulted in me moveing out.
So moveing out is a hard thing normally. But with 2 cars, finding somewhere is hard. Also coz I am only on apprentice wage I can't afford much.

So I have to sell my wagon :(.
I bought it not knowing what was inside it. All I saw was my dream car and I wanted it! When I got home I pulled everything out of it, to find a lot of goodies. I'm talking grates of rarespares rubbers that havnt been opened. 2 sets of chrome Fb special trims for down the side of the car (does anyone know what they are worth).
And new weather strips with the chrome and felt on them that go on the doors against the windows.

It's had all the floor pans done. It has a 202 in it with a manual behind it.
Comes with like 3 sunvisers and 2 of everything, example doors and bonnets and windscreens

So I'm abit unsure of what it is Worth. And all I know is the people on here have helped me out a lot and I can trust that use know what it's worth and will help me out.

Obviously don't want to sell it coz I love it so much. I always wanted one. And especially a special. But with times like this, I am having to make these crap decisions. Please someone help me out. Thanks

mates are a good thing to have right now , storing it means it goes on hold until lifes problems sort themselves out , and they have a habbit of doing that .
it sounds like the pricey things are paid for and when you have to do it over again id imagine it wont be that easy.
exhaust all resources .because 2 years ago an fb ek was worth alot less than now (thanks steve aka aussie bob aka rare guitars) and in hindsight 2 more years from now you will be paying more

Hey harko
I totally agree,
That's why it's so hard to figure out what to do. I might have to ask around for some favours :/
I hate seeing all those things inside it that are worth so much and I am so lucky to have find, and now have to possibly sell it

Such a hard time
Thank you for reading harko and ur advice
Appreciate it

Hey Colzy, sorry to hear about ya drama's, but don't worry, we've all been through it.....and ALOT worse!
Do you need to sell it to raise some cash.........or just don't have anywhere to keep them?

I have several big sheds and property here that I could offer to store stuff until things get sorted, and I'm sure there are many others on here that would be willing to help out.
Even if ya need to sell the Wagon, you can always keep and store all the good parts you have as these will be very hard to find again in the future when you will no doubt be looking to need.

Shoot me a P.M. if interested in sorting something out and I'm sure there will be a few more "Locals" pipe in to help as well.

All the best....chin up...........Bob.
